In an exclusive interview with Truthout, The Democracy Collaborative's distinguished senior fellow and author Marjorie Kelly describes "wealth supremacy" as a pathological extraction of wealth endemic to late stage capitalism. Wealth supremacy, as Kelly writes in her latest book of the same name, has institutionalized greed and defines a system that is objectively incompatible with the interests of the majority of the population. As a result, she argues, a movement to build a democratic economy is our only way out.
